Steel City Hobbies and Washington PA Food Bank

Steel City Hobbies was able to pull off a charity event to raise needed money for the Washington Pennsylvania Food Bank. $533.00 was raised in only 4 hours from R/C racers and patrons from the Washington Mall. This is an amazing feat because there was a snow storm going on, leaving the majority of holiday shoppers at home out of the elements.

We want to thank those who sponsored Steel City Hobbies in hosting this event which was put together in a short amount of time. The Pittsburgh Steelers donated merchandise, and Shorty’s Lunch, CiCi’s, and the Washington Mall all contributed to the 2004 Points Series.
