Nemacolin Woodlands and Steel City Hobbies team up for Hummer Experience

Steel City Hobbies attended opening day on Saturday, May 22nd to support the grand opening of Nemacolin Woodlands new Off-Road course designed for the Hummer H1 and H2. SCH had R/C Hummers on site to demonstrate how they fair the course of their big brothers! Also, the public got to try their hand at driving Mini-T's and Traxxas T-Maxx and E-Maxx as well as watching demonstrations of R/C off-road driving and other on-road R/C racing.

Too bad the life span of this track was only for the day. Very nice work!

Our make-shift store next to the R/C track, not far from the Hummer course.

We tried to tackle just about anything the REAL Hummers tackled.
Pictured is the portion of the rock course that shows how much lateral roll the Hummers can take.
Here the R/C trucks were actually sliding sideways as this picture does not show how steep it really is.

Nemacolin
The H1 and H2 T-Maxx's did a fair job on the REAL Hummer training course.
Although, we did not run these through the fording pits!

Nemacolin
Conor McCaskey and Danny Hartman took care of the Nitro end of things, and also
put on a demonstration of how well Traxxas tackles the Hummer Proving Grounds.
